Meet the Team

Joel Godbee | Co-Owner | 18+ Years experience | Hobbies: Surfing, Squash, DJing | "The thing I love about painting in Nelson and the Kootenays is that everyone is so bold with their colour choices! It's like fall all year round as you look up the hill. I really enjoy giving colour and life to each and every job."

Jordan | 3 years experience | Favorite thing about Nelson is the wonderful people it attracts and all of the adventures it has to offer. I love to camping, hanging at the beach, spending time with friends, live music, snowboarding.

Miles Lindley | Co-Owner | 18+ years painting experience. I love bringing the highest quality of work and style to every job. Outside of work, the Kootenays are my playground. I love snowboarding, biking, camping, motorbike riding and exploring with a frosty beer at Backroads at the end of the day. :)

Simon | from New Zealand | I love climbing and a cold beer afterwards. I like to travel and see new landscapes and cultures, I'm blown away with the mountains, trees and rocks here in Canada! I love Nelson for the music and art vibes, the lake in the summer, and the climbing is pretty cool too.

Dayna | I love reading, being with friends, camping, embroidery | The people and the amazing landscape (that provides so many fun activities) is why I love the Kootenays

Marcel: Born & raised in Germany. Been in the Kootz for 9+ years. Painting for 3+ years. I like snowboarding, kiteboarding, soccer and fishing and all combined with a cold local beer. I love the Kootz because of its beautiful people and its great access to the surrounding nature.

Emily: First year of professional painting. Emily grew up in Chilliwack. She loves snowboarding, calisthenics and is an amazing artist!

Rob: 18+ years experience. Hailing from Toronto, Rob loves canoeing with his pup Otis, music, snowboarding and a beer at backroads.
